COMMUNITY AND MEDIA - EXTERNAL COMMUNICATION!
This page contains information about Nathalie's participation in the community, as well as information about
her company EUCAN, in the media.
The Canadian Parents for French association held their annual conference on October 21-23, 2005. This year, the theme was "A United Voice/Une voix unie." Members were invited to attend an interactive workshop led by Nathalie: "From Sweaty Palms to Winning Presentations."
We are pleased to introduce the Bilingual English/French Human Resources (HR) Roundtable, a group of bilingual human resources practitioners of all levels, who meet every month to talk about their HR experience, and HR best practices, in French. Please join us at our next meeting.
In line with her belief that communication tools should
be made available to as many people as possible, Nathalie's workshop on “Communication Solutions” was part of the WECC Winter 2004 program offering. In the
Fall, she presented an “Introduction to Personality
Profiles” workshop. This workshop is being offered
again in March, April, July and November 2005.
EUCAN nominated
in the Consulting Category for the 2004 Entrepreneur
of the Year Inspiration Awards
The Gala event took place October 20th at the
Hyatt Regency Hotel in Vancouver. Five hundred guests
including business leaders, government officials, community
representatives and Self-Employment Program graduates
honoured the entrepreneurial achievements of nominees
and award winners at this prestigious event. This event
is organized by the BC Urban Entrepreneurial Development
Association (BCUEDA) and sponsored by such organizations
as CIBC, Terasen, Business in Vancouver, etc.

An exciting, fun-filled
weekend exclusively for women! The event took place
for the first time in October 2004 in New Westminster,
BC. An initiative of the Douglas College Foundation,
it was a weekend designed especially for women with
net proceeds benefiting the foundation. A wide range
of interactive workshops was being offered from acting
to mechanics 101, to personal safety or belly dancing.
Nathalie Clavaud was a volunteer workshop leader
presenting “Communication
skills for the 21st century”.
